Birdlife is still good, and the dry-season trails are easy to walk. Monkeys and sloths are seen in the park every month.

Good to know
Crowds peak around Semana Santa, when Holy Thursday and Good Friday are national holidays and many Costa Rican families head to the beach. Book months ahead and expect full beaches.
